The Merseyside Police Federation Charitable Trust works to support the community and individuals across Merseyside; focussing on hard to reach and disadvantaged communities. The Charity is administered entirely by the Merseyside Police Federation at Green Lane. It has no overheads, and no expenses are paid to any individuals involved. Consequently, every penny raised is donated back into the Merseyside community.
Our Charity Dinner is primarily attended by Merseyside Police Federation service providers and local and national businesses who have supported this event for many years. Since 2006 when the chairty was formed it has donated over £500,000 to local charities, individuals and causes across Merseyside.
All money received comes from income generated from the charity night and from lottery subscriptions that the police officers subscribe to from their salary. This is then donated back out to needy individuals and causes throughout the Merseyside Area.
“This year with monies raised at the event, we are delighted to be supporting an amazing local charity, Oakleaf Children’s and Young Persons Service.”
Oakleaf is the Children’s and Young Persons Service at Liverpool Bereavement Service. Oakleaf works with children and young people from 4 to 18 who are suffering the devastation and effects of losing, or being separated, from someone of great importance in their young life. Oakleaf provides them a safe and confidential space in which to explore their feelings and emotions where they can be truly heard and understood.
If you would be interested in purchasing tickets to attend, they are £55 each. It’s a fantastic night of fun, laughter and entertainment with a fabulous raffle and auction. For tickets, please contact Colette Knox at the Merseyside Police Federation on 0151 259 2535. Alternatively, email: [email protected]
Thank you for your support.
