Thank You Livv Housing Group!

Liverpool Bereavement Service were delighted to find out that they had been nominated as a charity to recive £500 from the Livv Housing Group‘s People Fund project. This is a fantastic project where members of staff can nominate a charity that they would like to recive the donation.

Livv Housing Group are dedicated to achieving positive social impact and flourishing communities. A core value of theirs is to bring people and neighbourhoods together to create better opportunities to to grow develop and thrive.

Part of their social impact strategy is the People Fund,

“Smaller, local charities often make the most impact in our communities but can be overlooked in favour of the bigger national charities. Our People Fund was set up by our Employee Forum to help recognise the work done by local charities who are supporting some of the most vulnerable groups across the Liverpool City Region. Every three months staff put forward their nominations for charities to support with a donation from the fund.”

Schemes like the People Fund are a great way for smaller charities to receive support. This is brilliant idea to raise within other organisations who are looking to provide positive social benefit to the communities they work within.
